Sorry I thought it was a Music app that didn't work with the Viper EQ.
No worries, makes sense, Viper's working great, speakers sound better than they ever have, bass sounds good even without a sub

Another thing to note is to whether the screen on phone is off. Does it skip only when screen is off? Does it skip with headphones plugged in? Could be the CPU on phone scaling down too much when screen turns off. Happens often

How'd you replace the home button to go straight to CarHome, instead of the input UI?

Screen being off never really affected it for me. I have bluetooth earbuds that I use at the gym with my phone and the screen is off while I work out. Doesn't skip at all with headphones plugged in. No idea about the CPU scaling down though.

Update on the usb issue. They want me to ship it back to them and that's fine and all, but shipping back to China is over 150 bucks :/

That's terrible. This was a tough purchase for me. my general rule with China is that I have no choice but to throw it away if broken. Tough to justify on $600 order. Sorry to hear.

Anyone having trouble with buttons? Have to press mine up to five times before they react. It's not lag because I can wait five minutes after pressing and nothing....give it another solid press and results. Was thinking of contacting then but if I'm looking at 150 shipping then....

Any idea if this thing has an accelerometer? Would be nice to use Solostorm with it and keep my phone in my pocket.

From Ca-Fi's site:

Important Note for Returning Items

To return the items, you are responsible for the return shipping charge and please ensure that the items are securely packaged, complete and place a return address label on the parcel. Postage cost will only be refunded if the items are faulty.

As long as your device is actually not working properly, you'll be reimbursed for shipping.

I believe xjohnx or someone else here has noted that it does.

Anybody else notice that the stock music player doesn't launch automatically on the latest update?

Any music players on the market that start with your car?

(I also noticed it likes to sleep/turn off quicker then before)

It's a bit of a safety hazard for me cause I want music but dont want to be stopped to have to turn it on :O

Never said it wasn't fair, just I don't have the extra cash like that to spare right now to ship it to them.
