Good point! Have a "Modification Paddock" that owners could pull into and be helped by other owners. I have a set of hood struts that are begging to be put on already!

Hah, I can help you with that. I'm sure if you just come prepared, you'll leave much better off. Guys like myself and many others are always willing to help out other owners.

I think, it's interesting idea. One issue I could see with that is space.

I hate to bring liability or legal issues into this, but it might be a good idea, if this were to happen, to have a sign posted around that "Paddock" that Ptuning isn't responsible for any modifications not done by them on their property. Not saying anyone would sue Ptuning if something fails...but sadly, you never know in this day and age. Just trying to watch out for our gracious host.

I would think modifications to cars as well as vendors testing out their setups and selling parts would be ideal for autocrossing? Someone wants to buy a STB and see how it handles boom, there is a vendor and there is the course lol.

Vendor has a nice suspension component they want to showcase, what better venue than an autocross! LOL. I think it just makes sense anyways!

Agreed, but then we also have to take into consideration the space limitations at the Autocross venue as well.

Having modification paddock is interesting idea... but let's not go into crazy full turbo or other crazy mods. Keep it into like strut towers &/or hood damper those parts that don't need special tools... but we'll discuss this more w other event coordinator

This is exactly what I mean. Anything that can be done in the driveway or average residential garage. Tunes could, in theory, be done as well. Being unfamiliar with the tuning process, though, that may be a bad idea if people are planning on driving long distances home.

I'm not one for superstition, but am I seeing an upside-down pentagram here?

Not sure how many will be at the autoX but it would be great if someone took an aerial photos of the event. It would look cool.
