clutch/gear box getting softer

its getting way to soft for my liking, is this normal?

what i feel is like, if someone doesnt know how to drive a standard car, they probably can with my car.

there is no play for the clutch. the clutch isnt slipping cause it pulls well.

its the initial engagement of the gear and the clutch.

hmmmmm....time to change clutch? its at 17,xxx kms

Mine's at 17k miles and I'm getting the same feeling. And a lot more play in the diff. Like clunking from gas off to gas on at low rpm in gears 1-4. Maybe it's just drivetrain wearing in.

It's just parts wearing in. You can remove the clutch return spring to gain some stiffness back in the clutch pedal.
