I think you're missing my point.

It's a different design. Look at the inlet to the axleback, the size of the mufflers, the routing and location, etc. It's not stock location connection to the axleback, it's in the middle, more like the Perrin design.

Me thinks you are behind the times.

Nameless sells a 3" catback here is the link: http://shop.namelessperformance.com/...r-s-3-catback/

Still different. Look at the catbacks themselves. It's important, because it allows larger mufflers and less piping, it looks far quietter. The one you linked to has the stock location connection from the mid-pipe to the axleback, the one in the cosworth pictures does not.

But yeah I didn't know they sold the mid pipe now. Thanks for pointing that out.

Did you have anything to add to this conversation? Or are you just here to be a ****?

There's a reason why Cosworth decided to partner with Nameless. Handmade high quality parts. Is it more expensive? Yeah. You get what you pay for. We've already seen enough people with experiences of buying cheap exhaust parts and the company disappears, no one answers the phone, and the exhaust dents and rusts out in weeks. You can do it all far cheaper- just like the Cobb power packages in the WRX area, or the Dinan packages in the BMW scene. You get companies that answer the phone, stand behind their products, and have strong design teams.

We already had handmade quality parts with proven gains and customer services beyond lots a big companies. My question to Cosworth is what justifies the extra 1000$ over other products ? Badges ? Brand recognition ?

SOA will never honor warranty when it comes to any third part ECU tunes. dont you think COBB would have done this with the wrx/sti platform already?

it wont happen, its not a smart business decision for them to honor warranties of mods especially ECU related stuff because then the argument follows....if this is honored why not that..and that opens you up to other possible claims.

at least in the united states, i simply do not see this happening, ever for various legal and business reasons.

Lololol yeah my $3.5k exhaust is cheap..... -_-
Right.
My exhaust is expensive and I still think this is over priced, so no, I am not, as you put it, just looking for best bang for buck. And my tune will be a full dyno tune, not an off the shelf flash....
And yes I understand cosworth and what they are about, but their products don't achieve more than a lot of other reputable manufacturers, and are still much higher priced.

it's for the people want the name..

This may be a dumb question, but why the low-temp thermostat? Most guys I see on here don't change the thermostat with headers/exhaust/tune and make similar or better power. What's the benefit of having this on the cosworth kit?

you would think cosworth would make one,
but maybe they are deciding if its good value, or if they can get it cheaper

They reckon more consistent power. Drop the block temps by 5-10C and you can add more timing in.
