Your GPS uses an antenna mounted under the dash. Roof mounted antenna is for satellite and AM/FM radio only.

Oooooohhhhh yeeaaaahhhh.... I should've remembered that since I had my dealer do the TSB where they adjusted the antenna to improve reception... Derp. Well I don't listen to the radio, so it looks like I can proceed with Operation: Antenna Shave. Thanks!

Yeah I use have the Perrin shorty on there and decided to mod my beatsonic sharkfin to fit with the vortex generator. It actually looks quite good in person and quite happy with the results. I can see from the pics how it does look busy, but it's much better in person

Click on any of these and you'll see a wide variety of of average miles between fill ups. My average range is about 460 miles to empty based on 35.0 mpg and 13.2 gallons available. That is if you can get 35.0 mpg and suck the tank dry.

I think this is what you're talking about. I put mine on the sides to keep the upper part of the bumper getting scratched over time from the rigid abs plastic.
