So do consider the UK prices, until we get confirmation that cosworth has a dealer here in the US we can only go by the present prices
Yes we do know that it's sold in the US. @MAPerformance has already said so a couple times in this thread.

I have the coated Nameless header sitting in my garage at the moment and I can tell you that it's exactly the same as the Cosworth.

This looks pricey and expensive.

Oops sorry you're right, must have skipped over those posts, still lets just say 3-4k USD is still too expensive for a few bolt ons that are already available through nameless and a very very conservative ECUTEK tune, giving a total of only 30bhp or 20whp? I know for sure you can make twice that power with the same bolt ons and a different E-Tune for the same price, and you'd be getting the same parts quality

Cause nameless made Cosworths, they announced long ago their partnership.

Hence an accurate crank BHP figure and not some muffled WHP figure,
I agree. Any kind of more mainstream car hp numbers are going to be talking about bhp. Honestly you have to be an idiot to think they are talking about whp here.

According to Top Gear they are planning higher HP packages - http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/c...ied-2014-06-02 . I'm wondering how costly it'll be though...

Same types of bolt ons not the same exact parts... A lightweight pulley set a good CAI inlet tube headers overpipe front pipe and cat back + a stage 2 ECU TEK tune,

CAI 3whp $275
Inlet tube 2-3 whp $150
Headers 10whp $1000
Overpipe 3whp $300
Front pipe 5whp $400
Catback 3whp $700
Stage 2 ECU TEK tune from FT86SPEEDFACTORY.com = 20whp $850
pulley set decreases rotational mass frees up a good 10whp from the power added $300
Less than 4k more than 40whp not sure about the torque figures but cosworth hasn't even released any of their own

It doesn't work like that.

Pulleys don't add a single horse power... This voids any point you might be trying to make.
