They're saying it'll be ready on Tuesday. So that means that on Friday I'll go up to Montreal to pick her up, and back down to Ottawa on Sunday morning for the cruise.
That's if I decide to drive.

well spent all day car washing and the car is now back in show room condition!

full interior vacuum and full wipe down.
rim wash and wax + tire shine
exterior wash and wax.

also did paulines car for its full exterior wax...

it only took 7 or so hours.... :S

but when i was done i opted to take advantage of the clean car and go for some pictures!

enjoy!

Hmmm, I don't remember the Scion badge being blood-red in the showroom...

Cool shots, with the colour balance at dusk, the very last one seems to almost have a slightly purple cast to it. (I'm a sucker for a dark, rich "Jaguar" purple paint)

Was gonna run down to Oggy on Saturday, but realized only part of the order arrived, brake pads.

New tires are only just arriving tomorrow. Stepping it up in size so hopefully no fitment issues. 255/35R18 Hankook RS3 this time.

I know right!
I'm the one arguing about the benefit of running smaller tires at the track. LOL

But I can't see myself running smaller than 245's on my 9" wheels, and RS3's are not available in 245/35R18 size so it was either go up or go down. Plus I'm not a fan of the stretched tires, not a Stance Fanboi.

So

Spotted Qsig's WRB BRZ parked in the Minto building's underground parking today. I had seen it before but did not notice the Qsig plates. Cheers man!

Cruise June 8 Update

Long story short. Triathlon has overtaken the hill and parking lot. Very Limited access. So after a day of panic and thought. ok not really.

Plan B is:

Meet at Place D'Orleans 9am -9.20am

Take the ferry ( hopefully on one ferry )

Arrive Chateau Montebello at 10 am -10:30 for more before being asked to leave.

Highway 323 up to Le cage au Sport for lunch reservations at noon for 25 people approx. with plenty of parking in the rear (insert jokes here). The postal code is J8E-2X3.
After lunch take the 327 down to Lachute where we will bid a fond farewell to our Montreal friends and take the 50 (so Chad and pat can have there way with us) Boosted cars folks, get your minds out of the gutter pervs.
or take the 148 or go home through hawksbury.

Start planning for the next one.

Hope you are all Ok with this little change and can still make it out, should be fun.
