driving a hybrid as my "other car", I'd argue that anything with an electrical engine / hybrid combo will beat any car with a conventional engine and up to double hp rating straight off the line. this will last for a 100-200 yards, then it's up to the driving/shifting abilities of the other driver.

Most hybrids I've driven are dog slow because they have really long gearing, even with the torque of the electric motors it doesn't do much for acceleration. Even off the line they aren't very fast.

I drive an Auris Hybrid which has the same engine/drivetrain as the CT200h and it performs just as i described.

Electric motors are torque monsters and that's what will get you low 0-60 times if that's all your looking for in a straight line. YouTube a Tesla vs Stingray if you want a surprise! This car is so much more than low ET's for a quarter mile, I didn't want a drag car. My last CRX Si had way less HP but this car stock is WAY more fun to drive!

I drive both regularly...

ct200h is slow excluding 0-25.

I hereby request you give up your MAN CARD due to crappy driving skills. You will have to retake your test at a later date in order to have it returned to you.

They arnt fast and neither is my car. If you all dont believe me thats fine I saw what I saw and I know how to put a car to 60mph its really not a hard thing to do. I never said it beat the brz I said it kept up which yes to me thats surprising. Hence why I was asking peoples opinions if a tune could be at fault.

What I've taken from this thread is that the OEM tune faster than an fa20club tune.

It could be worse, OP. your car could be on fire. Fa20club is much better at that than they are at tuning.

I should ask my dad to line up and give it a go .
I have driven it quite a bit and it is a slug, more peppy in sport mode, but no way it should be "close".

According to Edmund's 0-30, there's more than a second difference. 0-45 close to 2 seconds.

Even if it was close, the driving experience is pretty dreadful. All smiles in the fr-s.

Oh yeah, that's right. FA20club was the one with shoddy installs. I get them confused occasionally.

The other day I was driving my BRZ and I took off from a light and I was like "man this car is pretty fast!" and then I realized I had gotten rear-ended.

Oh i've driven way faster car's than this one but that still won't make me say that this car is slower than it actually is because of my lack in driving skills ^^ faster cars will always somewhat compensate for your lack in good launching though
