EVO - GT-86 Review

Quick video review by Henry Catchpole at EVO.co.uk

GT-86 Quick Test

Same as Chris Harris at Jarama.

Apologies if this is a repost, did a search prior to posting though returned with no results.

Nice to see a more objective review less biased with hype. And thanks for posting. Don't think it's a repost else our resident forum Nazis would have chimed in by now.

That's certainly not what I took from the review. He did say the gearbox wasn't quite as snappy as it could be, but he loved the feel. And his single "complaint" about the engine was that you could not just stomp on the throttle to get it to slide, but he then went on to explain that this was in fact part of its overall appeal.

Overall, he said at the end, "I loved it."

Here's a slightly more entertaining review biased with hype but also shares the same negative sentiments on the engine and gearbox.

Well his complaints were very minor - not quite as smooth a gearbox as a Miata, engine sounds a little rough - he still loved it. So his positive comments are hype, and his (very minor) criticisms are God's truth, eh? Interesting take.

His Jeremy Clarkson wannabe delivery however - no thanks. (And if he dropped say 70 pounds at the gym maybe he'd notice slightly better performance.)
