You may as well drive this thing around if you're gonna put those on your car.

Hilarious pic! Talk about mods that no one else has (or wants). I get by now by finding the empty part of the parking lot. However it never fails when I come back someone has parked next to my car. Do you think our FRS has built in hidden magnets that attract other cars?

My car has been hit multiple times. I was in a restaurant and some idiot walked by my car and dragged his stupid bag zippers on my fender. There was not one other car in the parking lot, but he just had to walk into mine.

I have door dings on both sides. Some retard backed into my car in my building's parkade. Big spiderweb cracks all on the one side, with paint chips taken out. This happened 3 days after I had got my car redone for all of the previous damage.

Today at the gym I parked in the back of the parking lot, not one car was around me, and many open spots at the front. I get out and some retard parked his huge ass van right beside me. It infuriates me, especially since my car has been hit so many times. I try so hard to keep it away from people but it doesn't make a difference.

What would you do? I wanted to kill someone but I had places to be and couldn't wait them out.
You should have seen the handbrake turn he did to get into that spot, though.

It's impossible to keep a daily driver clean. Mine lives off-street at home and doesn't even get left in public parking areas that much, and still every time I go to detail the car I find a new ding. People are shitlords. Most of mine are so small that you need to be up close to notice them, but in the last month or so I picked up a nice fat one on my rear passenger-side fender that left a proper dent that can be seen from ten feet away. It looks like someone full-on kicked their door open into my car. People are fucking retarded.

I know the feeling all too well, while not as bad as you I had 3 scratch (that I was able to buff away) withing 2 weeks on my car. I always park as far away as possible but always find cars parked next to me when I get back.
I always try to park real close to a curb but thats not all that usefull since people will take the extra space and still park close to me.

It's only on while the car is parked. Doesn't seem like a bad idea to me!

If the Amazon customer comments are real they are all the rage in NYC. I live in Texas and haven't seen any cars with these bumper guards.

Yes, most nicer cars I would see in NYC that street parked had one of these bumper mat type things on them. Space is tight and a lot of people end up giving a little love tap to make sure they're completely in the space. I was the odd person out not worrying about it when I parked on the street.

I have seen a lot of this type of stuff in Boston and NYC. In many residential areas there is only street parking so this is the best bet to keep your car nice.

Loved this episode. And hey, that ride was pretty feature rich if I recall correctly.

that's just pure luck the driver was parked a millimeter from your car...there's no way that the driver can judge the distance unless there's a backup camera. I had cars parked beside me that I had to contort my body just to get in the car and not dinging their car. Or even crawl in on the passenger side...
