We do no recommend trying to read and edit an Ecutek tuned ECU with OpenFlash Tablet. Instead, we suggest flashing your ECU back to 100% stock configuration using the Ecutek programming cable and the proceeding as normal. There is no longer any need for the Ecutek cable or license.
I understand you have to use one or the other. However, all I am asking is, can I use my OFT to run the CARB legal map for the JR kit? Meaning there will be no problems?

Later on down the road, I would like to upgrade to Ecutek, but initially, if I can utilize the OFT's capabilities then at least I know I don't need Ecutek off-the-bat.

No. You cannot run the CARB tune on OFT. It has been configured and locked in the EcuTek setup. Your best bet is to just get a tune done through OFT with an overpipe and front pipe.

I'm on 93 octane here in Florida. Looks like someone else is also seeing very very bad MPG on the track. I still can't understand by so poor mpg now at the track when used to get 16-17 at the track prior to the install. ( were not talking about a large increase in HP )

Any one else have a moto-east tune?

Possible? Yes. I don't believe that has been done yet, but in theory you can.

I have no experience with Brad Penn. We recommend any of the top shelf full synthetics. Redline, Torco, and Motul.

We run Motul in our car, and we are Motul and Redline dealers (we use Redline in CV joints... so we became dealers)

PS: On saturday at the track I had to fill-up after every two 25 minute sessions..
That is normal if... you've got a heavy foot. Amateurs don't use NOS. You don't need two of the big bottles.

No, you need an ECUTek license to use the CARB calibration. This is a CARB requirement (for those of us that need CARB)

We saw around 4 MPG on track with the NA car. Oddly enough, because we have more power now, I can't WOT as much, and we actually saw a slight MPG increase...

The stock car just DUMPS fuel at high RPM to cool the engine.

Excellent that is all I needed to know. I am in California so I would like to abide by the CARB requirement/law. At least I now know that I need to sell my OFT and upgrade to Ecutek to make everything seamless. Thank you!

Ordered this kit + oil cooler last Friday from CSG. Quite excited for it to arrive and install.

Anyone using a catch can with this kit? If so, which one?

Hopefully this isn't a redundant question for my first post but I was wondering what sort of RPMs are you guys at while cruising on the highway? I'm probably around 3400rpm in 6th going ~70mph (stock). Was curious if the extra power might ease that a bit...

Thanks in advance.

I believe there is an owner a few breads back that has a catch can. Pretty cool mounting location too. Pics are posted of it...

Welcome!

I don't believe you will see it change much, if at all. But I'm no expert...
