Hell, I met a kid with a brand new Silver Ignition 10 Series while driving highway 9 yesterday and the first thing he says after I tell him how much I love driving mine is, "doesn't have enough power, though". Why the F*ck did you buy it then? I mean, do you have anything else to say about your masterpiece of a car besides the few endlessly-recycled criticisms from internet reviews and forum boards?

The car has plenty of power unless you're on a perfectly straight stretch of interstate - and I don't mean that as a criticism of the car as much as it's a criticism of trying to get excitement out of a really boring road.

But yes, I agree with your last paragraph. I came from cars with 300 hp and 320 lbs/ft torque. I knew what I was getting into. |

I been quite impressed with the low end torque it provides and it pulls pretty well on the interstate in 6th gear when needing to pass. I am sure there are people that went into the buying process as if they are getting the "new supra". I did my research for a while and contemplated. It was a no brainer for me after reading articles and watching videos. I knew it wasn't going to be super powerful/fast. I knew it was going to be a driver's car. And that is exactly what I wanted. That is exactly what I got.

Initial sales were pretty good and now they're... OK. I have a feeling a lot of the "more power" kids are going to move onto the next chew-toy soon and then you'll see some more responsible spenders picking them up used. Eventually they'll fall below 15K and that's when the shit really hits the fan. |
