I find your car offensive and I will tell you, if you ask, what I really think about it.

99% of the "Builds" on this forum is a bunch of guys in a "how do you cook your RICE" circle jerk.
And 99% of the threads on this forum are either a bunch of kids complaining about how the car that their parents bought them doesn't have enough power, or marginally older folks complaining about how all the former are turning their cars into the "next Civic".

Hell, I met a kid with a brand new Silver Ignition 10 Series while driving highway 9 yesterday and the first thing he says after I tell him how much I love driving mine is, "doesn't have enough power, though". Why the F*ck did you buy it then? I mean, do you have anything else to say about your masterpiece of a car besides the few endlessly-recycled criticisms from internet reviews and forum boards?

Agreed, the car doesn't need any more power. It does what it was designed to brilliantly out of the box.

The car has plenty of power unless you're on a perfectly straight stretch of interstate - and I don't mean that as a criticism of the car as much as it's a criticism of trying to get excitement out of a really boring road.

I'm not marginally older. And my parents didn't buy my car. I'm fine with the power, but even if I had a Supra, I'd want more, like most.

But yes, I agree with your last paragraph. I came from cars with 300 hp and 320 lbs/ft torque. I knew what I was getting into.

I been quite impressed with the low end torque it provides and it pulls pretty well on the interstate in 6th gear when needing to pass. I am sure there are people that went into the buying process as if they are getting the "new supra". I did my research for a while and contemplated. It was a no brainer for me after reading articles and watching videos. I knew it wasn't going to be super powerful/fast. I knew it was going to be a driver's car. And that is exactly what I wanted. That is exactly what I got.

Well said. I think the car has adequate power... Would I like another 100 chp? Yes, sure, no problem. If I could get it with a factory warranty for $7500 hell yes, shut up and take my money. But... I can't. And I'm happy with the car as it is for now, and if I still love it in a couple of years maybe it will get a JR supercharger.

Initial sales were pretty good and now they're... OK. I have a feeling a lot of the "more power" kids are going to move onto the next chew-toy soon and then you'll see some more responsible spenders picking them up used.

Eventually they'll fall below 15K and that's when the shit really hits the fan.
