I'm sure down the line someone will come up with electric rack mods to decrease assist and increase feel, or maybe Porsche will even allow people to reflash the steering with the GT3 steering (I would bet 100 bucks that this can win a blind test against an older 911 if a blind test were possible). Like that, you've ditched a significant parasitic load on the engine, a ton of hydraulic lines, weight, and a potential point of failure. |
