Rocket music player seems ok for now but I'm going to try out PlayerPro. Good news is my 500gb hard drive connected to a 4 port hub in my glovebox seems to be working just fine filled with roughly 200gb of flac.
I'm pretty sure you can use the eq and other built in knobs in Poweramp the fix that.

Hey guys having a couple issues. Where do we wire the USB/aux port at the bottom to on the head unit? There the USB long cord input above the harness in the head unit and one on the left of it. How do I get it to work because it's not wanting to read my USB that the stock unit perfectly reads.

That one goes directly to the USB port on head unit. The long Coors with USB at the end is for the Wi-Fi adapter or modem

So you're saying the usb/aux one doesn't go to the one with the ipod on it as well, but the other one?

No, you got it backwards, your original post really didn't make any sense and was hard to understand, but the USB port paired with the iPod connector is the one you want to plug a USB drive into. I have mine hooked to a hub attached to the top of the glove box, the USB adapter cord for the built in port is attached to that, as well as a 256gb flash drive in the glovebox. The hardwired USB cord is for the WiFi adapter.

What about where the factory aux/usb port is? I usually have a thumb drive in there and would like to keep it functional.

.... did you read my post? I just said I have that adapter hooked into the hub in my glove box, but you can just hook it straight into that port if you don't want more than one USB hookup.

I just went out to check, and I actually can no longer find it since updating...

I remember seeing it before the update, but never opened it as I didn't know what it did.... what does it do??

I couldn't figure out how to unhide apps (how do you do that?), but I was able to add the QR code app to LMT launcher and open it that way. This is what I got:

I know it says something about the unit's IP address and hotspots, but I'm not sure how relevant that is to me, what have you found out?

Edit: does it have anything to do with this? http://www.voxcarlink.com/information/ (and do our cars support something like this from just the HU?)

It requires additional hardware installed by your car's dealer.
