Good recovery.

I couldn't see, did you have traction control off? It looks like it stayed pretty straight.

Traction control was completely disabled. The nature of the car is actually very forgiving

OFT

So had some time tonight to go for a drive with the recently installed Open Flash Tablet. Along with the drop in filter and exhaust additions the car is now a much more aggressive ride than stock. Low and mid range torque has improved significantly. The higher rev ranges are, well, angry!! The sound and feel in the cabin is nothing short of spectacular. A low deep tone when cruising almost daring you to launch an all out assault through the gears. Is the OFT worth the $500, YEP!!!!

Hope this helps with peoples decisions on a few of the aftermarket parts available. Can't wait till next year when the header and Crawford power blocks go on.

I have always used Handbrake for school project and general video-fucking-around. Free, pretty straight forward but can do lots of stuff when you know the program well.

http://handbrake.fr/downloads.php

I also have a question of my own : any skidpad/large unobstructed paved lot around Ottawa ?

Any loblaws or large box store is a place you can practice sliding around although if you plan on doing that best to keep it to after hours and not very long periods of time as someone will likely call and complain and the cops will come visit you.

There is the potential for a fine but I've been there and was told to go away. It depends on the officer and how you deal with him. I suggest keeping your skidding to short periods of time. Do a donut every now and again then leave you'll never have a problem stay in one place too long you'll likely get a warning and after that probably a fine.
