I can do this next week. Unfortunately, I am at a conference for the next few days.

I'm going to be in my schools auto shop a lot next week. Going to modify the esc cooling system and installing some lowering springs, so it should be simple to take a few pictures and write it out.

The smaller tube that went into the intake tube is just hanging out there now... I think that's the tube that sends the engine sound into the cabin, correct?

I can just remove the entire thing back to the firewall..?

Yeah remove the entire sound generation tube.

Yep, and that firewall opening would be where you run your in-cabin wiring harness into the engine bay.

It doesn't FULLY explain everything. The sound tube thing wasn't really mentioned in the copy I have - at least not up to the point I am at.

Can I use duct tape or something? I didn't realize I would need anything special for that (and I'm not even sure I need something special).

The tape is there just to make the battery pack easier to move from your workbench to the battery tray. Duct tape would be fine if you don't have anything else.
