Say,

U know how everyone who has preordered their cars mostly getting it for MSRP? What's the deal with our GB for Irvine---are we getting any bonuses/extras/accessories thrown in?

Wait a sec, are we even really in a GB for Irvine, or is it just a long list of preorders for Rich?

as for bonuses/extras/accessories I'm still working on it...at the moment were on Rich's preorder list...but reason why we went back to this thread was to get those people from PH subaru to Irvine Subaru instead...

well, now that we agreed with paying MSRP. perhaps we can ask for a minimum of free carpet, free wheel lock nuts, free chrome fender emblem etc. perhaps also, free service for XXX miles / 2-3 years, and extended warrantee discounts.

The reason I asked, was cuz looks like everyone's getting MSRP as part of preordering (or they go elsewhere anyways)... So if we don't get any actual perks to this GB, I'm considering pulling out and going over to Sierra Subaru since it's like 10 minutes away from home, and I'd be #7 and get 4 free oil changes lolz.

Lemme know asap plz!

i think 86 design is heading the discussion with Rich as far as the group buy.
also, i think our conversation will be much more constructive once we have the actual price this week.

one of the topic of discussion would be a free upgrade to chrome fender, free carpets, free wheel lock nut etc.

we can ask for free service, but i know many of us would rather do the oil change ourselves.

maybe we can ask for 15% off on extended warrantee.

BTW im willing to talk to Rich if 86 design is unable to.

When I last spoke with Randy last Friday, he told me that their initial allotment of 35 cars for preorder went down to 27 (or 25? it was 20 something for sure). He said that they actually had to call a few people to let them know they couldn't keep their names down on the preorder list.

Wouldn't be surprised if he was a bit misinformed to be honest, but I thought it was worth a mention. Not sure if you guys heard the same.
