Limited Slip

I didn't see anything in the first post about limited slip. Is a limited slip in both the Premium and Limited? If in the Premium I may change my order to Premium. Anyone know?

Not seeing how Scion is getting hosed? It has Nav and HID and that's it for $1315 more. I can live with that and still get the FR-S as I like the style better.

They really nailed it with this car. I think it's priced right. I can't wait to drive one.

Comes standard on FRS/Premium/Limited (Torsen)

Yup...just did Massachusetts math (6.25 sales tax) and mine comes to
$29345 ltd/auto
$1834 tax
$348 dealer doc fee
$31527 OTD

My dealer promised MSRP and I trust they will hold to that. That's about $1500 more than I hoped, but I'll pay it...and now the waiting begins.

The spoiler, keyless start, heated seats, foglights... and everything else the limited comes with probably adds up to exactly 2000.
Still, I'm not disappointed.
the 4 items you listed typically cost ~$500 each. Leather is usually another $1k and auto climate control is another $500. Plus the lighted vanity mirrors and entry lighting that was mentioned above. Definitely getting a package deal.

I'm a little disapointed that Subaru only announced the MSRP prices and not the full price list. I want to know what the options are and what they cost. I expected a full build site to launch when the price came out since it is so close to launch.

Is dealer doc fee non-taxable? I would've thought that it's a service sale, hence taxable, but I'm not sure. Dealer doc fee in MI is capped @$190, but registration + title will add another ~$180.

I originally wanted the BRZ but after months of looking at pictures of the cars and then seeing them at two auto shows I would now buy the FR-S if I was going to buy one.
Exactly my reason for going with the FR-S, on both counts!

VERY excited to see these BRZ's!!

Anyway - it's good news, glad to see mine start with a "27" instead of a 28 or even 29 (which would have been insane). I can deal with that.

Queue the "why not get a WRX" debate again, where folks can debate apples and oranges all day...
I got one from Subaru and then one from Subaru Customer Service..

If there is a mark up at the place i'll be buyinf from i may have to get the frs instead as the price with destination is already at the most i'll pay for this car. Anything over 26.5 is just throwing money into someone else's hand.
Who ever said 2k? Most people said 1k from what I can recall.

24,930 after destination for the FR-S

26,245 after destination for a BRZ (extras Nav, HID)

Doesn't screw over Scion at all imo.

You're probably right. I guess it's not that bad considering most auto packages cost about that or even more.
