Any suggestions on navigation systems?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about picking up a navigation for my fr-s and wondering if I could get some input.

Currently looking at getting the DNN770HD or AVIC7000NEX.

Checking to see if anyone picked up something else and if there's a better choice.

I want to utilize my unlimited data plan on my phone so wifi is a plus for me.

Thanks guys!

If you want WiFi, then the Kenwood units are nice because they have it built-in. I went with an AVIC-8000NEX and installed it last week. Like it a lot so far. Hell of a lot better than the standard unit that came in my BRZ.

Can't beat this unit. For what you get at that price it's a no brainer. From what I've read, you can maintain the OEM USB\AUX-IN functionality. Bluetooth OBDII works for Torque. I'm very close to ordering one.

If anyone goes for it, do not buy the bluetooth OBDII adapter they sell, there is a lower-profile one on Amazon for $10. The Ca-Fi one is gigantic.

Just an FYI, but you can retain OEM USB with an adapter for any aftermarket radio. The Aux input can either be wired in or you can modify the stock bracket to fit the aftermarket Aux input.

Of course, I was just throwing it out there because it would be a deal breaker for me if I couldnt maintain those two connections by the shifter.
