FLO-Pro Twister. I have a few friends that use this on their midpipe (as a resonator) on their LS swapped cars. Flows good and keeps the sound in check.

Would this be something that's cut in and welded on to existing pipes?
Or would it replace something inline with the exhaust?

It looks like a "resonator" or glass packed muffler. I would guess you need to have a muffler shop chop and wield it.

You can get a hemholtz resonator on the front pipe from Nameless, or like everyone said here, get a quieter exhaust like TRD or Q300. I know a lot were disappointed with the sound though.

I've heard the Nameless exhaust, and the 2.5in was pretty tame.
That's b/c a turbo is an awesome muffler.

I love the sound but the drone/vibration is off the charts. If my twin was my DD the N1 would be gone. But since it's my purdy days/ fun car I can live with it.

How do you like yours?
I wouldn't say the car with the silencer caps is quieter than stock. It's still pretty loud at start ups.

The car toned down a bit after I got some mileage on it. But I still use it with the silencer caps on it. In the end only 1 car would have the alarm go off, so I opted to blame the neighbor that the problem was his car. (Surprisingly the rest of the neighbors agreed)

I still haven't taken out my N1, and I'm afraid on spending money and then realize it sounds just as loud as the N1. I confess to be too lazy to take it out and put the stock one back on.

Running a header back exhaust with a Q300 and it's just perfect. No drone. No setting off car alarms. No headache. When I first installed it I was so disappointed that I couldn't hear anything at all then I drove roughly 1,000 miles or so on the exhaust and it opened right up to a lovely sporty tone that's actually quite loud when throttle is 25% or greater. Seeing that you have an N1 try to see if anyone that has aQ300 would like to swap the rear section. Both mufflers (Q300 & N1) will fit onto your N1 mid pipe.
