I got another interesting talk to a cop. This cop is my night course teacher though in college then had some kids in a car taking pictures. A dude in a Scion tC tried to impress is girlfriend I guess. He kept evening himself up with me then flooring it and slowing down nonsense. Mine you, I live in Alabama where the hangout festival just occurred. There was no room and it was backed up for miles.

Backing out of my garage and a young kid on a bmx bike stopped suddenly to yell "Nice car!!" . Thought he was gonna flip forward bc I noticed his rear tire lifted as he stopped.. LOL

I was walking to the BRZ in a parking lot last week. A car was pulled up behind it and the woman at the wheel had her cell phone out taking pics. As I got closer, I saw that it was a friend of my wife. She got out of the car... "OMG, I didn't know you owned one of those... I didn't know Subaru made a sports car like that... I'm taking pictures to show my husband the car that I want him to buy for me."

She walks over, looks in the interior, etc... Very impressed.

Then a couple days ago, I'm going thru the drive thru at McDonalds and the cashier guy half jokingly says, "Hey, I like your car a lot... I'll trade you a '99 Honda Accord Coupe straight up for it."

Local private girls high school was having g a car wash and as I'm driving by on the busy road:

"Car wash! Car Wash! Hey, NICE CAR! Car Wash!"

Almost made me let them sandpaper, er wash, my car.

Looking back at car washes we had to fund raise when I was young ... Wondered why we never got real nice cars. Now as a person who cares about his paint?

Me: "Nah it's a boxer engine."
Guy: " A what?"
Me: "4 cylinder"
Guy: " What's that?"
Me: " v4" ( said v4 because he doesn't know what a boxer is)
Guy: "Oh I see. Rev it up for me"
