I'd go with JDL EL or UEL or the newly revised PPE setup. Fuel pump can be stock or DW65C, it's whichever you prefer. And yes, this setup is flex fuel capable as long as you have a flexfuel kit. Off the shelf. We have over a thousand hours in the Innovate setup, so much so that bringing it in for custom tuning would seriously not net you anything more and would cost much more.

What kind of power are you seeing on 91 octane with the Innovate intercooled kit? Is the 70mm pulley an advantage on 91 octane?

So, with an IC, 70mm pulley, and Flex Fuel kit, I only need to purchase the Stage 2 E85 tune from your website and I'm knocking on 300 rwhp (DynoJet numbers) and have full flex-fuel capability?

That's fantastic.

I picked up the pump and injectors on a recommendation from another tuner. I'm amazed by how much you are getting out of this engine with so little in fuel modifications. Frankly, hitting close to 300 rwhp on a DynoJet was beyond my hopes when I started assembling these parts. I thought I'd max out around 260.

8 months of delays and other issues, I'm finally going to be able to get this done. I can't wait.
Technically if you're using a Flex Fuel Kit it would be the Flexfuel Stage 2 tune. Same power. Just let me know when you're ready to get that tune and I'll set you up Most other tuners like to use bigger injectors, but we have a way of using both PI and DI to their fullest throughout the range. Hence why we can keep stock injectors up to around 330whp on E85.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

The 70mm pulley can be used on 91 octane but you absolutely must have the intercooler. Not safe otherwise unless you completely neuter the car timing wise. Pulling some numbers out of my rear that I'm entirely unsure of, I'd say probably 240whp ish with the stock pulley, and maybe 275-280whp with the 70mm pulley on an Intercooled 91 octane setup. Again don't quote me on that, I don't have access to all the charts from home

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

Who makes the custom cams on the Delicious NA race car that you guys are tuning, and will they be available to the public in the future? Does it have any other internal/head/engine mods besides cams and I am assuming springs/rockers? Stock lower-end/block?

I remember you were talking about it and said that you couldn't post the secret dyno results yet; but promised it will be indeed spectacular

When you get the chance, can you confirm those numbers. Those numbers change a few things.

My car with the intercooled kit, stock pulley, PPE headers and Nameless high flow cat downpipe made 56 additional whp on CA 91 octane pump gas when tuned by Delicious at HG Motosports. HG has a Dyno Dynamics dynometer, so the whp figures are low compared to a dynojet. Base run was 154.5 whp. Car was stock except for the highflow catted downpipe. After parts install and tune the car made 211 whp.

211whp isn't a big number but the kit and tune make the car run very smooth. No more torque dip and no more idle surging when trying to drive in first or second gear on a cold start (people would look at me funny when leaving a parking lot). Those are two problems that I disliked with my stock FRS.

Hope that helps, if you want I can pm you a dyno pic? I should probably post that pic on my build thread actually.

Anyway, now that I'm getting used to the extra 56whp I plan to save my pennies and upgrade to a smaller pulley and lighter flywheel and get another tune

Right, so those numbers on 91 octane and stock pulley equate to about 245whp on the local dynojet. E85 adds about 30whp (dynojet) and the smaller pulley adds another 30whp which brings you to right about 305whp on a Dynojet. There you go

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

Read back a page or two. They were evacuated due to wildfires a few days ago

We are back now, safe and sound.

We have not seen any message from you on our website, as we looked. It might have been going to our spam and we do apologize for that. But we are alive and doing well. Just working on catching back up with customers tunes and more updates.

As for the NA FlexFuel Tune, please order through this link. There are options at the bottom of the page so you can select the FlexFuel tune from options listed.

Stage 2 Pump Gas and FlexFuel / E85 Tune
