Here is some more pics, had a little less meat on the wheels when these pics were taken. Getting some new tires in the rear (245/45 RE-11 rear and have 225/45 A048 front) will post how it looks when ever my tax return decides to come in.

About 6kg lighter a corner than the stock rim and tyres (18,3-18,7kg). Feels good.

haha, me too.

Anyway, here's my current setup. Didn't plan on it, but the price of the wheel/tire combo was supa cheap, so I went for it. I like the way it handles too.

What sized tires did you put on them? Which suspension and camber are you running?

Tire selection on 17s is much greater. Everybody has preference, but I recommend RE11A for DD cars and RS3s for track setup. NT01, RC1, or RA1 are great tires if you like running with R-comps. With a grippier tire, you don't need to run as wide of a tire, however, having a fat sidewall also means slightly less response.

What about 245/45R16 on 16x8 et25 20lbs Enkei Compe wheel wrapped in Bridgestone RE-11. It would poke just a teenie bit.

245/40R17 on 17x8 et35 Kosei K4R 15.8lbs wheel wrapped in Bridgestone RE-11a?

Neither seem like they would rub stock suspension lowered .8" with -1.1 camber. since the offset is further from the car. I run on small tracks and autox and daily drive so according to what you mentioned earlier wider would be better in that case.

I am on 225/50/16 Bridgestone Potenza RE760 tires with Megan Racing Track Series coilovers with around 2 degrees of camber all around.

What differences in cornering and ride are you noticing with that tire size compared to others you driven (please provide those other sizes if you have examples). Thanks for answering my questions.

We were on 235/40/18 before and it is noticeably more comfortable to drive on this setup. Also, I can sort of feel the wider footprint since these wheels have a lower offset and stick out further than the 18" I had before. I mostly went with the 16" setup not only because I love the way it looks, but also because this is a daily driven car on terrible roads in Denver, CO, so the taller sidewall makes it a bit more bearable on the track suspension (more cushion for the pushin!)

I was thinking of doing 245/45/16 on those wheels. Should fit even on stock suspension since the offset is 25. There's really only one non-track tire that is made in that size however and that's the Bridgestone RE-11 which was what I'm going to buy anyway as that's what I'm currently running already (in 225/40R18). I also guess 245s would fit on the 8" wide wheel.
