I think a lot of folks are mistaking 8k for 10k.
8k is more blue than 6k (which is more white),
10k is more purple than 8k (which is more blue).

The problem with that color map is that not every company adheres to it when marketing. Someone's 8000k is another man's 6000k, etc.

Even trying to match LED to HID from the SAME company can be difficult.

That said, if these ARE close to 6000-8000, it'd probably still look good on most.

Not for the BRZ at initial release. My understanding, they will be released but at a later date.

Had these for about 2 weeks now and in black housing.

Also, if you're doing HID's, do NOT use H1 bulbs. Get D2S bulbs and the light output is great and so is the fitment. You will need D2S > Amp adapters if you already have ballasts. Otherwise, get a new HID kit made for D2S. Lastly, you can retrofit the whole thing to whatever you want. Mine are wired for DRL's so I have my high beams on in this picture to get them to show. Second picture is the hole I drilled for the HID's that I originally had for the H1 bulbs and the rubber grommet. You don't need to drill ones this big if you use D2S.

Not sure if @FT-86 SpeedFactory have tested the D2S bulbs for fitment so you guys can sell those instead of the H1's from Morimoto. I know @fteightysix now sells D2S with their kits now because of a severe lack of info from the vendor. Worst part is the instructions call for an H1 bulb, but you will see just how bad the light output is once you put them in and attempt to adjust.

+1 on the D2S, i made the mistake and went with H1 as thats what everything called for.. I'll be changing over asap...
