charger
That's a sweet spot for the charger but I think it would be more usable under the center console near where the AC inlet is. I know for me, I have the cup holders in the back position and I like to put my phone in the front space. I'm not sure if that's what other people do but it would make more sense to me, to put the charger under there.

Sorry been away
Sorry guys I got busy with work and dropped off for a bit. Ok to answer a few question. The induction charger there uses the wireless QI standard. I've seen where they make them thin enough to fit under the batter covers or just a thin layer behind the phone so that it can fit into any case. Some even make them to fit internally in the phone.
I have an IPhone 5. I don't get to choose the phone I get as my work assigns me a phone and covers all costs(no complaint here) What I ended up doing to keep the phone from sliding around was simple and looks rather clean. I heated the old induction charger plastic housing and was able to remove the orange rubber ring. I put on on my badge in an oval shape. So now when the phone is on it when I drive it doesn't move. I mean regular driving. If I do some crazy driving and take corners excessively fast then it will slip. But for me it works perfectly for my day to day driving very nicely. |
