Probably because your installation of it is better than mine. On my breezy the strip looked wavy and out of place. Ill post a picture when I wash her

Yeah I'm pretty anal about stuff like that. If it takes three days to put a screw in straight, so be it!

Yeah it's not super sticky to begin with due to the size. Cleaned mine with alcohol, drank the rest of the alcohol and applied the weather strip. Just needed it to stay secure long enough to attach it to the body. The other 3M should suck it in nice and tight afterwards

Yeah should have waited for a hot day to install the second side ... it popped yesterday night and now I have a small gap

I had to double layer my 3M cement tape to actually get it to stick to the body... Also, the underbody mounting hardware was such POS... I end up not using them because you really don't need those to hold the skirt (1000+miles proven).

Wedge something that's heavy against the side of the skirt for pressure and leave it there overnight or on a hot day and allow it to secure nicely
Just make sure it's not on the skirt and not abrasive, just want to put pressure against the side

On one of the side the underbordy actually gave it a perfect and straight fit, on the side side it bumped the skirt when you look from underneath, gonna have to work to make it look good !

Agreed! This is what happens when you get replicas and not OEM I guess. $800 for OEM STI side skirts is just so stupid...

Yeah the price + import + shipping is simply too much unless you win the lotto !

Got mine at the local automotive store finally, I think cement 3M might be a bit strong for the paint though ?

Yeah, that's the exact one I got. Cement could be too strong for the paint. I am running this body kit setup temporary until I got enough money to get Rocketbunny (5k for some unpainted plastic)... So easy removal is a must in my opinion.

I wish I could afford rocket bunny, but it's not just the kit but the cutting, painting, new wheel, tires and suspension geometry I can't go through right now haha
