Nice, I've heard good things about the airaid box when combined with this SC kit. Is that pipe from Nameless Performance, if so then I thought they all came powder coated? Also, it looks like you were able to squeeze the airaid box in there despite having an oil cooler. My oil cooler uses the same mocal sandwich plate and fittings that Perrin uses, so I'm afraid the airaid box wont fit with my setup. Which oil cooler do you have? Is it the Cusco kit or is it perhaps the 2014 Forrester oem oil cooler?

After the reflect-a-gold my pre-blower IAT's wouldn't go past 100 when sitting still in traffic. Ambient temps were around 75F then. Not a fan of the bling on mine, but if it works, I'll take it. ![]() Next up is some DEI Titanium exhaust wrap for the header. |

I am kind of disappointed, i'll be honest I bought it so I could increase the whine of my supercharger (yes, the ricer in me), but I can't hear it any more than the stock box ![]() I'm using the forester oil cooler (oem style setup). Yes, nameless pipe, they come either powdercoated or raw. I bought it raw and then my buddy helped me polish it up. |

@ntaphse - can't wait for that coupler. Even though I was able to get the new coupler I bought to work obviously, it was a very annoying and tight fit. The coupler needs to be longer.
I'll keep the lid on, but maybe I will fab up a new lid out of sheet metal and put some kind of louver/cutouts in it Its easy enough to fab something up.

Bit the bullet and picked up the innercooler upgrade kit and starting the thought process of what I need yet to install, and physical install process. I've seen some mention back when these were first released about some people doing it without removing the manifold - how did that turn out? If you could give me details on the types of tools you used that would be awesome - in looking at it the back end of the charger looks to be a bit of a pain to work around, getting to the 6 allen bolts to take off the back half of the blower. Any advice from anyone that has gone from stg1 to stg2 would be awesome - thanks!
