Inverted shocks cost more! Less unsprung weight. Or, do you mean he got a great deal

How are your MCS? Lex wants us to test their stuff so we are in discussion to test their recommended setup and go from there. The setup so far seems interesting and we're not quite convinced yet. When we have a set to test, a better assessment can be made and proper valving can be developed.
well i would be very interested if you were to test their kit, i decided i didn't want to be the test bench as i am not knowledgable enough to say if it is better than something else so i went with Tarmac2 in the meantime but if someone tried it and said yeah, they are superior to X or Y, i would go with them.

They are less expensive than JRZ, i figure they should offer a good support and they should be on par in term of quality with JRZ and Moton. But, never tried them.

If you've got a set of shocks you want dyno'd, take/send them to a race shop with a shock dyno and tell them you want the shocks dyno'd and you want a printout of the plots.

If you're asking if a manufacturer or vendor is prepared to do that on your behalf (before you've purchased the shocks?), they'll have to answer that question.

MCS already shows a full line of units for the twins; is this effort one that will potentially see a line of units built to your specifications?

I wonder why FA chose that super ugly color? It's not that it's ugly really; more like, it's too darn close to Tein, that it makes it look cheap, copy-cat'ish and knockoff'y/generic. Especially since Tein's marketing and signature color is that super famous Tein green. It's kinda like starting a brake company in the USA and painting their calipers and pads the exact same baby blue color/shade as PMu.
We actually have them make a custom color scheme for our DSG editions, if Jeff chooses to go this route we will be having his 2-ways done in this color scheme

^^ Looks nice!

They just need to stop using green on their standard/ots 500/510s imo. They'd prolly even gain more customers if they'd stop using green as their standard/ots color.

I'll actually make sure to pass that on to them, they always value customer input

Well the valving will be dialed in on one of the bumpiest tracks in California. When guys from Canada and East Coast came over for GTA Super Lap Battle, they were utterly surprised at how ridiculously bumpy Buttonwillow was. Some even said the track was undriveable (excuses) and not even a real racetrack. Either way, this is the track where suspension challenges are validated, verified, or busted. For the record, stock suspension and stock alignment setup yields times faster than most modified FRS/BRZs in the community.

Anyways, I don't want to throw this thread off topic. We can create a new thread when the time comes to describe some specific suspension setups that have been tested or suggested for the community to work with. This is a thread for FA's Dreadnaught's setup.

although I don't care much about the color/looks ( with the exception of pink, lol), I have to say that the color and the coilover looks really good in the picture you posted

I have spent thousands of dollars on my parts but didn't even get a side markers or something .. maybe I should add some side skirts or something to my mods list

While their (MCS) 2-way non-Remotes look real decent, I've been eyeing their 2-way remotes. Specs on the hardware is really sweet. If I can get a couple bills off the MSRP on them I would very likely pick a set up. Test them, David! Dooo et!!

Dreadnought.

Yes, I'm not into looks neither in almost all cases - Function over anything else. I like it oem original and incog. I dislike loud exhausts with big 4" tips and prefer the bone stock cat back, even the tiny usdm tips more. All I really want is coilovers, wheels tires, headers, a tune and maybe a short FD..and that it!

But it isn't about "looks" regarding the color ...it's about not copying, riding coat tails, biting, stealing, etc. Your business will succeed more if you stay true, do it for passion and also be original/fresh (not that I'm saying FA is not; but, a simple green color might make it appear like it's a generic tein to some people). All about integrity.

...their green or any color of their coilovers appears very nice, no doubt. If Tein never existed, then I or anyone else wouldn't really care and they are perfect appearance wise. But, since there is Tein, it might come off as a cheap generic knockoff, copying, etc.
