Yes previous software versions allowed this too. I just figured I'd mention it since we are all right on app space

Damn that's really disappointing, what was the update for then, I thought that was the whole point of it...?

Yeah I should've know when I read the change log. Will was being cryptic lol.
Change log: canbus fixes and app comparability fixes.
Don't know about canbus but compatibility fixes could address either app store app availability or app force closes....

Honestly haven't looked. Only have noticed that it is booting fresh instead of coming out of standby when starting cat. I told it to just wake.
Also still no sound out of door speakers. Checked fuses insert good. Confirmed amp turn on is making its way to amp. Any ideas?

Couldn't get it to extract last night, working today.

Do you have a pandora widget? If so, that's likely the source of the pandora crash message if you haven't opened the app.

Still have your stock head unit lying around? At the point where you've tried everything else, I'd hook the stock unit up just to see if the door speakers work. I know the harness is slightly different between FR-S and BRZ... did you check this out? http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=610948

Yeah I tested power on green wire by factory amp and it is getting power. I am also spliced into it to run my sub. Guess I can try stock unit and if it still doesn't work bring it to dealer. Just sucks because I had to use a bunch of t taps on factory amp writes to get RCA for sub. Hope they don't give me shit
