Those running a wideband, where are you putting the o2 sensor?

Just to expand on this, anyone using the secondary o2 sensor bung already in the header?

Thats the direction I was kind of heading to, lol. I want to add the Innovate wideband to my setup on my p3cars gauge, just wondering where people are actually putting the o2 sensor.

I believe it can be run on the secondary O2 in the header. After all, the tune removes the CEL and (I UNDERSTAND) its only purpose is monitoring Cat efficiency.

I had a bung welded by the front flange on my front pipe. If you get it welded at around 10 o'clock pointed away from the transmission, there is plenty of room

My Full Blown downpipe came with three bungs, and I put it in the furthest bung away from the turbo after the OEM primary and secondary O2 sensors. The best place for it is prior to any cats and at least 18" away from the outlet of your turbo or exhaust ports (for superchargers).
As for gauges I used the AEM Failsafe. I like being able to see both AFR and Boost at the same time at a glance. I really like having the AFR on the outside with simple colored LEDs to tell me what is going on. If my AFR is not in the green then I let off. You can easily see that in your vision and you don't need to worry about processing quickly moving numbers on a gauge.

Here's mine
![]() I was originally going to mount my wideband in the secondary o2 sensor port but decided against it. Like King Tut said, you'll want it a little bit more down stream, but before the secondary cat. |

Thanks guys. Rather stick it in the secondary o2 spot, but I could always have a bung welded on the front pipe, seeing as I have to take it off anyway because the damn hanger broke lol

I have the MTX-L wideband, MTX-D oil temp and pressure and not but not last the Defi Boost gauge. I guess if I need anymore gauges I'll but the P3. As soon as I finish getting the rest of parts I'll take as many pics as possible.

Where can I get one of these adaptors? It goes from metric to 1/8 npt correct?
I wanted to use the PLX gauge, but it's sensors were all not compatible with the holes in my engine. |
