I'm going to sleep early tonight, and will rush to my dealer tomorrow morning before they open.
I hate this kind of issue, i have Obsessive compulsive disorder when i see car imperfections.

Hey, i just found the TSB paper which can be printed and showed to the dealer.

That TSB part numbers are opposite of what is listed in my invoice, I guess the dealer wrote the old numbers on invoice instead of the new part numbers, regardless I got the new updated brackets. Glad I helped a little even if it allowed you to search part numbers thus getting the TSB

Went to Plano, TX Subaru dealer this weekend and a new BRZ on the lot had the gaps on both driver and passenger side. My friend noticed it without my even mentioning it.

Anyone knows if a dealer can legally deny warranty replacement of the clip on the account that the bumper was removed ?

Sub and bump. I'd like to know the same. Dealing with this issue, gearing up to go in and duke it out with the service rep. But it isn't the clips, I'm pretty sure the bumper is a little misshapen. A lot of people have had this issue before, including my own I've seen this issue three times this week. I don't have the link to the thread but one guy had his bumper replaced because of it. Took a lot of work though. I do want to know if having the bumper removed is going to disqualify it from being covered by warranty. It shouldn't be if the bumper doesn't fit properly. My theory is that pulling the bumper just wears down the tabs enough for the bumper to pop out of place due its improper fit. If the tabs are in tact, it shouldn't have issues.

Have they already tried to deny it? I've been in customer service for a while now, and I've also required customer service, and I will say unless you've already had issues, going into it with this attitude will set you up for failure. Just be super nice and go in with the expectation that they will help you--they probably will. I adore my dealership and they've done anything and everything I've ever asked, but I know some people who haven't had as much luck. I always am super nice, I fill out nice surveys, and they take care of me.

I have this issue a little bit on my car, but not really enough to mess with. Tried to show it to the boyfriend and he told me I was insane, lol.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm trying to get a better idea of what a "normal" front bumper gap is for this car.

This is my 2016:

Is this normal? Anyone have better fitment? Something to mention to my dealership?

Totally normal. The gap typically doesn't appear until you remove your front bumper a few times. I've had mine off 4 times and my gap is a little worse than yours, but still not terrible.
