Clicky. I don't know if FT-86SF contracted Hancha Grp to design one, or if Hancha designed one and decided to sell it through FT-86SF, but it looks promising.

I put in an order for one along with the driveway labs rear diffuser

Sadly it won't be in time for the track Friday.

Sounds great! I'm curious of the performance over the stock pipe. That splitter looks badass too. I like the DWL diffuser but I'm waiting for their street version, current model is a bit too extreme for my DD

Holy crap!!!! That does look awesome!!! I wonder if it'll fit the HKS quad exhaust I don't see why not since the pipes don't bulge out of the bottom.

I have a feeling that @Wonderbar will be selling a lot of Type 2 diffusers this summer! He did a great job designing it based on input from the community. You shouldn't have any fitment issues with that exhaust.

Fitment was good and I had no issues installing it other than finding another failed gasket supplied by PLM with my overpipe. I made a quick trip to the dealer and grabbed a few new OEM 2.5" gaskets with metal construction and a thick firing ring.

I haven't had a chance to take it for a spin yet since it just started pouring rain but I did get a quick sound clip.

Before installing the new front pipe:

And after:

Initially I think it sounds a little throatier and a little louder than before; I like it. No rasp and no additional noise in the cabin! Looking forward to giving more feedback from the road in the coming days and the track this Friday!
Looks good! I'm happy someone finally got this on because this will probably be the route that I go for a front pipe.

@ATL BRZ I've listened to both clips quite a few times...even with my 2.1 speakers w/ sub. I agree...it sounds throatier & louder, but I'd like to add deeper. I'm thinking with your exhaust setup, the resonator in the stock mid pipe and the resonator in the front pipe are responsible for that? I haven't done anything to my exhaust system yet, but I have in mind to get a front pipe like this (catted/uncatted & resonated). I haven't decided which one, but at least I know that there's THIS choice, too.

Shaun from vigilant motorsports actually painted it world rally blue for me. I will update my build as soon as I can but I have been super busy lately.

I think the additional depth in the exhaust note comes mainly from the increase in piping diameter in the front pipe from 2.25" to 2.5".

The smaller high flow cat probably allows a few more decibels through but the presence of a cat with the help of the resonator in the front and mid pipes the rasp is completely eliminated and the volume is kept under control.
