Yes but with the wheels I've ordered I want to remove them so I can do some 'alterations' under there.

I fit mine and did the trimming on the car last weekend so i could give them to a friend for paint. He was very impressed with the fitment and overall quality. I'll post up some more pics tomorrow as this is the only one i have one this computer....(The front bumper is just kinda hanging in this pic)
Making that 275 tire look small!

Todoroki Front Fenders

Is cutting definitely required? If so, can you share a little more detail on what needs to be cut and how much has to come off? Is any welding required? The only reason I ask is because this image looks like it's been welded. My fenders go in for paint early next week and I want the car fully prepped before I get them back.

@Jesse@JDLAutodesign
More info/pics about trimming please. From my understanding, no modification was required to fit these. Pretty much direct bolt on. Curious as to what all is actually needed to fit if there is required modification.

+1 for more info. @Jesse@JDLAutodesign
Was the trimming on the inside of the KMO fender lip that needed trimming or the actual chassis of the car? I'm assuming it's the former as most FRP fenders have a bit of extra lip for a little more strength but can hinder running wider wheel/tire when lowered. Only other thing I can think of besides that is the side marker brackets when running lower or wider wheels. The Dream Project guys drift their demo car regularly so full lock modifications must've been made to the chassis @JordanWho |

Okay so I pulled off my guards today and looked into this whole 'trimming' thing.
If you want proper fitment and want to run the track width/offset that will fill out the fenders you WILL need to trim the car or else your tyre will foul/scrub the car on full lock. This is because the extra track/offset will increase the outer turn radius of your wheel/tyre and thus foul the piece in question. I know some of you will already know this but I thought I'd add it for anyone that didn't. If you just want to run standard wheel sizes and offsets like 8/8.5/9/9.5 +38 & > etc you don't need to cut. You will however see the pieces in question sitting behind your new fender which are pretty ugly. See pictures A. From what I make from the instructions that came with the fenders is that there are two options. Option A is trim off the tabs and option 2 is completely cut off the whole section and weld a cap back on. Personally I will be simply cutting off the tabs hoping this is going to give my wheels enough clearance but if it doesn't I'll have to move to plan B. See pictures.

Depends on the offset. I run -18 on a 10" wheel and I'm only just slightly poking. Granted I run a fair bit of front camber but yeah... They are pretty wide.

Yeah I run 18x9.5 +16 up front with about -2 camber and I'm dead on flush.
