Tire Puncture! What should I do?
I was revving the car a lot today and I noticed a lot of heavy noises everytime i went over a bump, and eventually as I went over the last ramp into my garage, that was when the tire gave way and the car was just tilting to one side.
Could I have caused any damage to the car or rims? ![]() I'm going to replace that punctured tire sometime next week, but the closest tire shop from me is about 20km away from me. I haven't had a look at the tire repair kit in the car yet, but would using it be able to make my car safe enough to drive that distance? I'm one of those car dummies who's never had anything like this happen before. So what should I do now? |

Seeing as you mentioned the repair kit, i'm guessing yours came without a spare as well..
Keep the repair kit for when your stranded in the middle of nowhere and really need it. Take it off and take it to get repaired, could be something as simple as a nail(repairable) tire shop will help you out |

But the main issue here is, how do I even get my car to the workshop if I can't drive it in its condition? |

That can be arranged, but I was referring more to my car. The local workshop includes the fitting of the new tire with the purchase price, but that can only happen at the workshop.
How do I drive my car to the workshop with a flat tire? Unless I waste my repair kit for this? |

Depending on the size of the puncture, you might be able to pump up the tire and have it last to the tire shop. I have an small electric pump for this, but if you have a bicycle pump, it will take a while, but it should work as well. Sometimes I'll pump it up, wait a couple of hours to make sure its not going to go flat real quick, then take it in.
