Anyone else with a Perrin shift knob
having trouble keeping the "cap"
in place? Seems to melt a little
when it's hot and resets sideways.

Off topic but I saw you at subway today but you just finished doing something. I spotted your car when I got in the Subway Didn't get a chance to say Hi though

I've now had my BRZ for 24 months and 12k miles. Usually it's about this time that I start looking for something new.

I had just finished woofing down a flatizza before heading to a critique for one of my senior courses. Didn't see anything, I had serious tunnel vision. Right now is crazy since I'm graduating this semester.

Usually when it's raining, snowing, salty, or otherwise very slick out. Slick enough that I can avoid using the handbrake or kicking/abusing the clutch. This tied into my own self-imposed requirements of being in a relatively open location that I know exactly where I'm going or could end up, and can see that no one is around nor will be around while I'm mid-slide. Sometimes a few days in a row, sometimes not for months. Depends on conditions and what I deem to be safe opportunities.

I usually drive for grip, I'll turn everything off but won't even have the intention of going sideways. Can't really do it on the backroads. If I do, I try to find an open space where I know If I get chucked from that 200hp 151 lb-ft I'll just look stupid for 2 seconds and drive off.

What methods do you guys use to break out? I only do powerslides in 2nd gear on a 90 degree turn or in an empty garage. I need to stop
