For those of you that are unfamiliar with DashCommand, It's similar to torque, but much easier on the eyes. You can watch the video below to see how the default interface and layout looks.

Did you side load dash? None of my favorite apps show up in play store. Also anyone have any luck running paid version of Swype?

So I take it nobody has a working ODB2 dongle, huh?
Who's hooked up reverse cam? This one seems like a good value but does'nt seem to be a good fit for FR-S since you would need to route wire elwhere. Any suggestions. I don't feel like spending over $50 on a cam

Plenty of working obd2 dongles. I have 3 different ones that all work with Torque. DashCommand can't recognize them though. I'm working with DashCommand's developers to see if they can fix it.

Does anyone know whether its possible to make PowerAmp the default audio player? I sideloaded and its working fine, but the Unit starts playing from the USB drive using the built-in app whenever the car starts. The built in player actually isn't bad, but lacks the equalizer of PowerAmp, which makes a big difference.

does any one able to use DoubleTwist on their unit? all i want is a music player that can sync my iTunes playlist.
If you find something that does this, let us know. I used SyncTunesWireless to sync my iTunes playlists to my Nexus, and then I copied the files exactly as they were from my Nexus to the SD card for my Ca-Fi. I don't know if SyncTunesWireless lets you choose where it syncs the music, but even if it does, it takes forever to run it (even if you're only adding a few songs). Definitely need something better. DoubleTwist looks interesting. What is wrong with it?

I don't think it's possible without rooting the device. I hate the built-in apps. I stay in Podcast Addict and PowerAmp. Mine doesn't automatically play anything when I get in the car (but you could use Tasker to make it automatically play something in PowerAmp, which is probably the next best thing).

Thinking about getting this OBD2 adapter: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Switch-ELM327-Bluetooth-Diagnostic-Scanner/dp/B00BL3KQZO/ref=pd_sbs_auto_8?ie=UTF8&refRID=0N2ASASXTW5891RYM ZGR"]Amazon.com: Switch ELM327 Bluetooth OBDII OBD2 Diagnostic Scanner CAN ELM 327 Scan Tool Check Engine Light Car Code Reader: Automotive[/ame]

Low profile and a bluetooth switch to turn off when not using it.

Note that from the reviews, the on/off switch only controls the bluetooth transmitter, not the entire unit.

I saw that, but the same reviewer noted in his comments that it does appear to be off after turning it off. Either way, I only care about the bluetooth being shut off when I don't want it on, if only to keep some random people from connecting to it.

Thanks for link. I think I'll buy that adapter. Been having nothing but problems. Already had to factory reset once to fix stick volume control. Sucks with no root. Been spoiled by titanium backup.
About half the apps I load from play store or apk force close. Also wish we could kill the main screen that comes on when you hit home.
