Went to go check it out this morning. It was pretty amazing in person. The first thing I did was hop into the back seat to check out the leg room. My girlfriend sat in the front and I was able to sit pretty comfortably in the back. She's 5'4 and I'm 5'10. I sat in the driver's seat and with her behind me and I was able to sit in my normal driving position with her sitting absolutely still. Not the most comfortable, but hey, it works better than I thought. The car is bigger than I thought, but I'm coming from an EG Civic, so it doesn't make too much of a difference.
The interior quality is fantastic and you absolutely feel like you're being hugged by the car. My only gripe is the boring cluster (I think the FR-S has a cooler display), but it as very vibrant and easy to look at. Overall, I'm sold and can't wait for mine to come in. |

I saw it today...
It was amazing in person. I (5'7") could fit in the back with my dad (5'8") in the front. My wife is 5'3", so someone (like kids) should be able to sit behind her pretty easily. I have a few pics... I can't wait to get mine! |

Took the trip diwn from the east bay to take a second look. It was nice to get a feel of throw of the shifter (the one I've seen previously was an auto), very nice and short. Also, good news for those larger/rotund guys (I'm 5' 7" 250 lbs), the seats are snug like the newer WRX seats but not uncomfortable like the ones in the evo. Tried to sit in the back and my head was hitting the rear glass. There was no dignified way of getting out back there was guy my size.

Guess we all sat in the same car! Lol I was impressed. Very well built and fit like a glove.
Can't wait to get one. |

I'm surprised you fit in the back, I went to check out the one at Steven's Creek Subaru and With me in the driver's seat, there was less than an inch between the back of my chair and the front of the rear seat. And I'm only 183cm!

I just got a call from Steven's Creek Subaru in San Jose CA saying they have a silver one in the showroom. Not sure how long it will be there though.
