I'd have said a 2014 Ford Fusion. VERY similar. The Fusion just needs a hood scoop.

Personally, I think this car looks fantastic. I see a lot of GC8 resemblance in the front end. If I didn't have my FRS and loved it so much, I'd seriously consider this car.

You'll hate the new sti, then. It handles even better. Got a test drive in one today. Without tc off, I was squealing the back tires around corners (si drive was in s# & c.diff was set to auto -). These are 245/40's on 18x8.5's.

Lord that was an entertaining drive. Still not interested in one for the price, but it does handle fantastically (still a bit understeery, though they brought the Sti's steering ratio to the same as the brz's).

On phone I am. Therefore, if mistakes I make, Frank Oz blame you should.

To me the WRX is the better deal unless your a serious track junkie. I wish a dealer had a WRX that I could really thrash.

Agreed. For a DD it is by far the more financially smart choice if you're not going to compete on the track with it.

Until the STI gets a FA20DIT setup that brings it to 300bhp with a twin scroll (slightly higher compression & more efficient twin scroll). Then it'll be more competitive with the STI in terms of practicality.

The FA blocks are really something else for gas efficiency at cruise. They can make power but also sip gas when needed.

Still looks like a Toyota Camry. Everything is great about the car except how it looks. They vastly improved the performance in regards to handling and the seat comfort.

Good luck with the new shop!

Just ordered a 15 ISM 6spd as a daily

The fender flares, side skirts, etc looks much more pronounced in person. IMO, it looks alot better than the GR/GD next to each other.

Electric steering is accurate and quick, not much feedback at low speed though. Still way better than most cars. This is inevitable.

Power is good, sufficient as a daily. Torque feels readily available and much better than my BRZ with Vortech SC. Exhaust is boomy at idle for a stock vehicle, kinda annoying.

In person, no it doesn't. In photos, yes it does.

I just don't like the way this looks - it's way too pedestrian. And yes, I've seen a few in person and given them the walk around. It lost the curves of the previous generation and the fender flares strike me as slap sided. The front end looks extremely bulky and nose heavy, which throws off the whole design for me.

And it's crap that they gave the WRX electric power steering! The STI retains hydraulic so why can't the WRX? I don't wanna hear any crap about fuel economy savings - the WRX is a low volume seller that won't affect Subaru's CAFE rating in any significant way.
