If the midlevel version is going to be 29K, that's base 370Z territory... it better be fast at that price.

after this prius disaster they've been doing the 5 year warranty now,

now if that continued onto the ft-86, talk about an (even more) tasty prospect

I've been debating whether or not to put more money into tuning my current car or saving for the FR-S. Now all my money's going into saving lol (I might even start to part out my current car and put it back to stock for some extra cash)

One thing I noticed: They said it will be released in Nov 2011 (who knows where though), but they said development was about 50% complete. I'd figure they'd have it a bit more complete, but then again they do have another 1.25 or so years to finish everything and do some fine tuning. As long as one is sitting in my garage and I can start ripping all the useless stuff out by 2012 I'll be a very happy camper!

Normally I'd agree, but this is a first hand report, not the usual trash they translate from JDM mags.

The have brought very accurate news in the past too.

Well this is very good news but for that price, i would definitely want a turbo

29,000 US almost 31,000 canadian starting price.

This might be a good thing, it might actually come turbo'd

and maybe a twin turbo model as well

please, please

i want a new turbo'd car

Please Toyoto, don't fuck us over.

If this is the price for a NA car under 200hp,then its a Fail

COMPLETE FAIL

but if it comes with a turbo and maybe twin turbo we have win, win, win
