Yeah, I beat my best time from last year already by a full second, so I think the new tune helped quite a bit since I was running on worse brakes (not my usual HP+ that I tend to run, but only my winter HPS pads) and track was still pretty cold.

I'll chime in and say that the car as a whole is quite impressive.
Coilover setup and alignment is spot-on, car turns in beautifully and not tail-happy either, very nicely damped through transitions. The big brake kit is very nice with good but not too much initial bite while offering some really solid stopping power. And the supercharger is soooo linear, and power level makes it feel essentially like a 6 cyl instead of a 4. And it makes nice sounds too.... So I think the 11 second is due to all the improvements working together, plus I would bet that Norm's driving is improved also due to having more confidence in the car.

I have a couple of questions / observations: - Where is your camera mounted? - I was watching your speed/RPM and I realize that I'm going to have to get comfortable driving at >5K RPM since you were there pretty much all the time. - The slip indicators came on a few times, but not where I thought they would all the time. I'll have to watch again. Do you do the pedal dance? Last edited by jvincent; 06-02-2014 at 08:51 PM. |

I thought he might have a helmet mount.
I've got a mount for my phone that I will use so that I can get the Torque data overlay. |

Funny that I never noticed that before, will have to check my other vids but I typical mount the camera static to the passenger visor so I don't see the dash. I think it may be the ABS kicking in actually, but if so I don't feel anything obtrusive. It looks like its coming on turn-in or mid-corner so it may be that. My Fumoto valve arrived in the mail today, so an oil change will be coming shortly.
I've only ever granny shifted my cars before so I need to reprogram my brain to drive at high RPM. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk |

Just driving around today probably like 40 min of driving around probably redlined 6 or 7 times... I probably drive my car the hardest out of everyone here though.... Hence why I buy the expensive oil...
