Did that (it was already RCA) but no joy. It should be as simple as RCA out from Camera to RCA IN (Reverse Camera), and then wire the reverse lead from the camera to the reverse wire on the HU, but its not working. I looked through all 17 pages of this thread and while there are tons of claims that it works, no one has said how to connect it (assuming its somehow different).

You turned it on in the settings right? Assuming you have the reverse wire connected in the wiring harness (it does not come wired when you recieve the stereo) and the settings on - it should work.

Download the manual: http://ca-fi.com/web/download/CA-FI%...%20V%201.1.pdf

Page 12 shows the reverse camera setting under 4.6

Verify that you have the reverse camera installed to the right port too, it should be the middle one on the left most column of composite inputs.

It should fit, you would just need to re-wire the harness more than likely. Honestly, if you've ever installed an aftermarket stereo it would take like 30 minutes.

Otherwise - i'll put this out there, i'd rewire the harness for you if you provide the parts for 40 bucks.

Hey, let me know everything you would need. I want to retain factory starting controls and usb if possible. Let me know...

Did you try PowerAmp? It works for me, and I believe a few others.

Interesting. I'll give this a shot later today.

edit: Yikes, didn't realize this would overwrite some system software. Not gonna try that. However, I did try installing Google Search and just the Google Now APK. I'm guessing there's some hook in the other packages the Google Now app needs, because it can't find the Google Search app and just throws up an error saying so.

Anyone interested in buying this from me? Would come with everything. Gps antenna, wifi usb. Also would come with antenna adapter.

Got a good deal on AppRadio3. Going to try it out for a bit and see which I prefer. Really the only plus is that I can sync Pandora from my phone and control it unlike the ca-fi. Pandora is what I use most anyways.

Does anybody know if tablet apps would work on this? Specifically this one, Select! Music Player Pro: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...rosonic.Select

After using a music player with a waveform seekbar on my PC I feel like I would need one in the car.

Turns out the AppRadio needs a bunch of wires hooked together to even be compatible with my Galaxy phone. Opting out of it and keeping the Ca-Fi.

If I could just be able to control Pandora with the Ca-Fi off of my phone [thumbs up, thumbs down, change stations, etc] without launching wi-fi, I'd be the happiest mofo in the world. Much like my wife's CX-5 can through bluetooth.

Everything else about this HU is awesome, aside from having to side load apps that 'aren't compatible' according to the app store.

for you guys information, there maybe software update from Ca-Fi in coming days. my unit has suffer "This unit has insufficient space" error and i can't download anything from either play store or browser, the only way i can install new app is to side load them, and make it much harder to update any app... just to be clear, i have plenty of space in cache, internal storage and micro SD card, and i already try to reset download manager, play store app and play service, nothing help and i even reset the unit...

My unit kinda does that too. Good to know they're issuing an update.
