Which exhaust?

So i'll be in the market for a cat-back here in about a month or 2 and am hoping some of you with experience with some of these systems or different ones could give me some input as to what exhaust to get. My budget is around $600 which I know really limits my options, however with that said theres two systems I am interested in.

First being the Invida N1 which I see a lot of other members here are running so that leads me to believe its a pretty good system for a good price.

The second being the Megan Racing Drift Spec. I personally don't know anyone with this setup and haven't seen anyone on here with it, but for only $380 it seems maybe to good to be true? Is a good system just some people not liking the single exit (I personally don't mind) or is it that cheap for a reason ie. crappy design, bad material etc etc...

Looking forward to some responses and if you have any other recommendations ill gladly hear them. Thanks.

The Megan is that cheap, because it's a single out. One muffler, one tip, half the cost.

Also, without knowing WHAT your expecting, no one can give you recommendations. Do you want loud? Do you care about drone? Rasp? Loud at wot and quiet at cruise?

Being loud is not an issue with me in fact I almost welcome it, drone maybe depending on how bad it is but if its just at a certain RPM range it would not be a big deal.

N1 and Greddy Evo3 drone make no mistake. Loud yes they are... There's tons of threads here best to take a boo and listen. Also if you can goto a somewhat local meet and see and hear some setups in person that will do wonders for you and that way you'll make the best decision possible. Not worth rushing into, get what you really want day 1 IMO of course....

Just be aware that a catback that is loud with stock headers and cats with be off the scale obnoxiouslt loud of you ever go catless headers or high flow cats.

If you are going to change other exhaust bits get a quiet catback

I have an N1 and it's definitely on the loud side. There's drone around 3k rpm which isn't bad around town but it can get annoying on the highway. It looks and sounds good though if you don't mind the noise. I don't do much highway driving so the drone isn't too much of an issue for me but it's something to take into consideration.

When I get a header I might switch to something a bit quieter.

Heres something I've used that may help you out...go to www.dsportmag.com , click on browse and click the product showcase link. That link shows both intake and exhaust tests for the FRS and a good amount of catbacks are tested there. They dyno'ed, sound tested, quality checked them. Some of it is opinion of course but I'm sure that site can help you.

I just bought the N1 so lets hope I made the right decision! It was between that and the Greddy Evo3 and a lot of people told me to get the N1.

Honestly, I would rather you spend over your budget and be as happy as possible, than spend under your budget but not be happy. Not being happy with a $600 or sub purchase is a waste of money. That being said, the Greddy SP Elite and Borla Axle back are probably the best bang for your buck in terms of sound at your budget.
