My question, what are the negatives of dropping your car with lowering springs and not using lower control arms? How long do you think the stock shocks would last with a spring that drops ~30-35mm? Are bushings a definite necessary mod when lowering the car?

This is what i am going, when more are in stock. I like the lower mounting points, I am hoping it will get rid of the car lifting a leg going up drive ways etc. And more travel would be lovely!

does anyone know if the brands above are "legal" to use in AUS?
im assuming none pass ADR's etc? I'm looking for some at the moment too as im chewing out the insides of my tyres like crazy but not sure if I want to go for the Whitelines that are "raceonly" for the street because of insurance purposes. |
