12v to pin #1 should enable bright LEDs when the headlights are off.
12v to pin #3 should enable dim LEDs to be on when headlights are off.

Now, I have to find a extra pin to use in slot number 3 as mine is blank. Also, I need to find a source of 12v when the headlights are on. At the moment, i am thinking of tapping 12v from the parking light harness that is really close.

My main concern is this to be 100% reversible and clean looking

edit*** don't try this at home kids. These are strictly based on wiring diagrams and looking at my harness. My test tool is out of batteries so nothing has been confirmed.
Thanks for the info!

#3 ss indeed LED low - if you feed 12v to it, it works but feeding 12v to #1 on my car does nothing.

BTW
Do you know what #2 is for?

Soon. We're still trying to source the parts to make up a "kit" so you can DIY.

I don't know if it's helpful to anyone but found this while looking around on some mod sites. Hope it hasn't been posted before

http://www.nengun.com/ipf/daytime-position-lamp-kit

It's not cheap but looks pretty well put together. Any thoughts on it? P.S The langauge on the site is not great.

Looks interesting but not applicable to us. Problem with the "pre-nice radio & boot spoiler" high spec is that the headlights are not wired internally for bright mode/DRL.

So i recently took ownership of a 2013 BRZ and I am having a similar issue with the LED's not working.

What exactly are the steps to follow to ensure that I have the DRL working properly.

Thanks in advance
