The product page for the flash and go tune states the boost controller is coming but it seems like people already have it. Is the page just out of date?

They're prototypes. From what I understand they're not very pretty and don't come with any of the mounting hardware, vacuum lines, or installation instructions.

We're slowly easing them in a controlled release so as to make sure there are no issues. You can IM me privately to see what we can do about getting one out to you

I wouldn't say it's not pretty It simply doesn't come with all of the mounting brackets and vacuum lines quite yet. As of right now it's what we would affectionately call a "tuner kit".

Sincerely,

Just installed my DT stage2 93 tune, stock apart from K&N air filter. Initial impressions are VERY positive. I can barely detect any torque dip. I was disappointed with a tune form another supplier (PM me if you want the name), so I decided to spring another $300 to see if it was just my car which runs fine on the stock ROM.
Now I am thinking of getting an E85 map, but draining the tank concerns me. Any opinions on how much residual fuel between swaps is OK? Also any flex-fuel systems with the DT maps?

Just curious, but isn't a Stage 2 NA type of tune for something that would have something like a header and catback?

Hey Vader,

Happy to hear that you're enjoying the new tune! As far as draining the tank, we do like to see you get her down to the gas light, however I'll tell you that for awhile I was paranoid about running out of gas and would rather fill up with E85 just before the light came on. This isn't good practice, but it worked out fine for me. In the end, even normal 91 octane can vary between 0 and 10% ethanol, and E85 varies between 60-85%, so it's never a perfect science. Try to get it down to the gas light, and let the ecu sort out the rest in fuel trims. The octane of the ethanol is high enough that you won't run into knock.

We do have Flex Fuel and E85 maps available, the flex fuel kit required to run the flex fuel map is what we're working on finalizing. In the meantime, I'd be happy to set you up with an E85 map if you don't already have a flex fuel kit. Feel free to pm me for details.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

You'll definitely get the most potential out of the car with a well designed header such as one of the offerings from JDL, Nameless, or PPE, but our Stage 2 will work with a stock manifold and a simple drop in intake filter as well. As far as anything behind the header goes, on an NA car, it really won't make a difference. Buy a quality header and add catback to suit your aural taste.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

I decided to go to stage 2 after talking to William. It runs really well just with a drop in K&N. Really noticeable torque throughout and for patching over the "dip".

Another question... Purchasing a tune includes updates by minor version within the same major release number. So how often is a major version released? Once it's released, if we want to update do we pay the full price again, or is there a discount for current customers?

Basically pretty soon here we're gonna be changing how we roll out the tunes. We're to a point that many of the tunes, specifically the Innovate kit, aren't going to get much better because they are so refined. Every tune purchased will include revisions to the individual right off the bat to suit their particular vehicle. As far as major updates go, I'll have to get back to you on that later today. The important part to the end consumer is that we're getting to a point where the tunes we're rolling out will only require minor, initial revisions before the tune is perfect.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

Got my Flex Fuel installed with my Vortech at Infamous Performance and tuned by Bill.
242whp w/ 91 octane on the Mustang (one of the highest he has seen for a SC with a similar setup ~280whp on another dynojet he tunes on)

The E85 tune came out to 284whp (~320-330whp on dynojet )

This is all on stock headers and overpipe w/ the 9psi pulley. All I have is the Invidia front pipe and N1.

Thanks Bill for the awesome tune

The spike is the stock clutch slipping :P

When the 200whp-91oct tune becomes available.. To save money- can I just buy the license and the tune from you, without buying the $300 cable (ie: you flash it for me)? I am local of course.

I kinda see it pointless to buy the cable and only use it once or twice (not to mention I only use Macs and really don't wanna install the buggy and huge Windows Boot Camp just for this).
