That's just one more reason for me to hate Scion. I like the accents, similar to my Panasonic edition Celica (was Canada only so no accents surprises the hell out of me)

Pics and sorry about the finger in the one <.<

If they color matched the stitching and accents to the paint I would like them too, but red accents with a blue or orange car? No thanks.

So today I sat in a TC at the Toyota dealership. YUCK! Everything was made of plastic, and the headunit was fuuuuuggggllyyyyy. That thing is defintely being replaced or yanked out if I'm getting an FRS lol. And yucccckkkkk! The entire interior/dash/everything was shitty hard clickity clack hollow action figure plastic. If it wasn't plastic, then it was cloth or fakey leather (aka vinyl). And the only things that werent plastic were the steering wheel, the ebrake handle, the shift knob, the seats, and the seatbelts lolz. Terrible. $19k though haha.

I hope the FRS shares the same interior material as the BRZ's softtouch dash.

It does, its exactly the same as the BRZ premium except for not red stitching on the ebrake....

Red stiching is probably OK, but I am not sure the red patches on the seats would go with the Hot Lava colour?

Seems to be a common concern. Here's my take. When you're inside the car, you're inside, you see the inside. When you're outside the car, you see the outside and very little of the inside. So why are the two connected in any way? Do you spend a lot of time with the door open, inviting people to look at your car? If they're riding shotgun with you, all they know is that it's a black/ red interior they are experiencing while being inside the car. Yeah they might see the hood a little, but really who cares.

Lol kool. I admit that I did like the hvac knobs on that TC, cuz they had some resistance to them when you turned 'em. Not like clicks or 'slots' like my mom's ighlanders knobs, but more rubbery clicks. Lol u gotta try em to know what I'm talking about. Damn, tough choice!

I hope that it is it. I had seen real life pictures this head unit, but I just wasn't sure if it was going to be the factory upgrade for certain.

Thanks to whoever found this nice shot.

If my eyes aren't deceiving me, I see a 3-way speaker set-up in the front, yes? A tweeter & midrange in the dash & a mid bass in the door. Please correct me if I'm wrong, or confirm if I'm right!

Yes, it's advertised as 8 speakers, and two are in the back. Personally I haven't seen a car in this price range with a factory three-way setup.

Would be cool if you could get different color seat trim, especially on the hot lava color. But that is really the only color combo that will look a bit weird.

the tC has an 8-speaker setup standard as well.

I agree, it looks so out of place and cheap. But I'm sure they'll offer it as a $500 option. -_-,
