This is the next thing I want to do to my car. Where would I have this installed at? I'm not much of a DIY person, especially when it comes to drilling holes and tapping wires.

I should go back to Jerrys and have them tighten my LCA. Seems to still click a bit after the last alignment.

Then again, John did say bring it back by if anything changes.

Any regular shop should be able to do it. They just need a stepped drill bit to drill the hole through the plastic and splice a few wires. Took me about an hour or so to do because I was taking my time.

I had an issue with F n' A Automotive's original bulb with the kit. It caused my clock to dim unless the dash lighting was set to max brightness. The new bright bulb they have now fixed that. I'd recommend that bulb anyway especially with aftermarket LED tail lights. Matches them nicely.

Yeah, I just finished reading your post about the clock going dim. I wasn't sure about the $50 bulb upgrade. Seems pricey, making the Stage 2 Kit comes to $135. Luckily I had actually stumbled upon their old thread first where the Stage 2 Kit was listed originally for $120 anyways, so I already had myself prepared to pay that much. Lol.

I'll try to order today. This will probably be my last mod for a while. Gotta start spending money on furniture for my new condo in Austin. I'll finally be getting out of San Marcos by the middle of this month.

Ah, guess I'm out. I just installed some Tom's and don't plan on changing back anytime soon

Went to Subaru of Austin for the first oil change, casually mentioned crickets and they ended up replacing the fuel pump with p/n 16625jb010. Good on them, even if it doesn't help, it was nice to have a dealership acknowledge it proactively.

Lucky. I always go to Subaru of Georgetown and the argued with me for so long. They ordered a replacement pump like 2+ months ago but never called me when it arrived. I just let it be. I know the new pumps don't fix the issue anyways.

Weird, I've never had any issues with Georgetown.

Wheeeelp, I learned how to turn off traction control tonight.

On that same note, anyone know a decently priced body shop for paint?
