I just looked at the 10 day forecast for Long Beach, its says sunny and 0% chance of rain through next weekend. Were folks maybe looking at the wrong Friday or am I looking at the wrong Long Beach?

Just joined, dont mind the user name.

I got the email yesterday for my Asphalt/6MT from Priority Scion of Richmond, VA. Apparently the two people that were chosen ahead of me backed out

Im not sure if it is too late to get in on that a CA trip though.

I havent been able to wipe the smile off my face.

I just got back from the dealer, I put the deposit down. Is it true that Scion is sending pictures of each of the first 86 cars throughout the build process to the buyers?

Not so far, but then we're not sure they are being built yet. I'm holding off on them flying us over to drive it off the end of the line!

Hmmm, guess I'd need to get my passport renewed for that....

Thats what the GM at the dealer told me on multiple occasions. It would be sweet for them to do that, but I still doubt they will.

Aside from the CA trip and the low VINs, does anyone know if the cars will have any other clues to being the first 86 cars?

I apoligize in advance if that has already been answered or if there was a thread for it already. Im at work and the network here is just as bad as dial-up, so browsing the forum is a bit of a chore.

You know about as much as the rest of us at this point. Really hasn't been much official info.
