Tein Flex Coilover setups

Hey guys,

I have been unable to find an answer to this, but I will soon be installing tein flex coilovers and wanted to see what other people are running for pre load, height, rebound and camber.

I'm looking for normal street and general track performance. More detail the better (measurements to each height plate and pre load plate, where camber plate is set, how soft is the coil set to).

Thanks for the help.

I set everything up like Tein recommends in the manual.
They also recommend 8 clicks from hardest front and back.
I've tried 5 front 8 rear. Need more time at the track to test.

Now I'm at -2.5 camber front and about -2.6 rear.

Ya I dont read Japanese so I have no clue what the manual even says. I can guess but I dont want to get it wrong haha. With the manuals setup what drop did it give?

Hmm mine came with English as well.
It's a mild drop. Ride height is about 24.5" floor to fender front and 25" on back. Should measure from center of hub to fender I know I'll check when I get home.

It appears the Tein recommended setup provides roughly a 1" drop.
I checked and found that stock measurements from center of wheel to fender is 14" front and 14.5" rear. I'm currently at 13" front and 13.5" rear. Maybe a tad bit lower.

Unfortunately I gained way more rear camber than I'd have thought. @CSG Mike stated in a past post that he would like a setup with -2.4 rear camber, as result of a -1.4" ride height.

I'm sitting at -2.6+ in the rear, and -2.5 up front #doh

More camber isn't a bad thing; you'll have more cornering grip.

Also, rememeber that my numbers are from SRCs.

Sure! The only strange thing is my ride height doesn't match theirs even though the initial setup was pretty much on spot. Who knows, maybe they are measuring a bit different for ride height. I don't think I could go any lower without suffering performance issues.
