I have already changed out my tensioner pulley to try to resolve the problem, but it started chirping again the next day.
Any ideas? Has anyone experienced this?
I hear a slight chirp as well which is a different chirp than the fuel injectors. I'm thinking it's coming from the intercooler's water pump.

If it's the water pump it means you have air in the system and it needs to be bled.

It is coming from the area around the tensioner pulley.
Thank You guys for the responses.

Chirp reminds me of the HPFP cricket noise lol.

You check the oil level in the supercharger?
I will try to get video. My phone just crashed so I lost the video I was going to upload. Does sound like a louder version of the HPFP crickets, but it only happens when at or above 1800 rpm and during cold start occasionally.

I get the same on start up then goes as the cold start kicks off. Emptied the SC oil and refilled, still there so not the oil.
It's Not the tensioner,
It's not the belt
I'll keep looking and I'll find you Mr Cricket...

It's probably the tensioner pulley. Not the one supplied by the kit but the one you move in order to slip the belt on. I think supercharger systems place too much of a burden on that stock tensioner. That's why people are having chirps even after replacing the pulley supplied by the kit...

My 2 cents

I noticed MOTOIQ did some changes during installation for fitment. Maybe I will look into that. It started doing it again the day I replaced the tensioner pulley. I am looking into the idler pulley next. Does anyone sell an aftermarket idler pulley if I find out that is what is chirping?

DO you have crickets while driving?

Do you own a mechanics stethoscope or even a long screw driver? You can press one end of the screwdriver to a stationary part near each pulley and the other end to your ear to locate which pulley is making the noise.

I have this issue too. Take off the belt, and turn the alternator pulley by hand. Thats where my noise is coming from.

Oh I wouldn't have thought about the alternator pulley but one thing I did notice is when I have the defroster fan on, the squeaking gets crazy. Maybe that might be a sign. Thank you!

so before sending car into the dealer I ran multiple tests on various tunes from 8.5 up to 8.54, all giving me cel PO016 & C1201.

Ive had to load stock map and bring the SC down to lowest boost possible to run the car on the stock map.
80mm and normal belt.

started up no crickets, which leads me to think the Blue gates could be causing the problem as it is slightly smaller and places alot more tension on the tensioner pulley.

the strange thing is i have run the car for 100km with the stock map, no CEL have come on, which is concerning me.

Car is in at the dealership, hoping nothing serious

Mis-fire

I got a CEL yesterday for misfiring or bad coil pack. I am the second person I know of that has had this problem. Does anyone know if it is a tune problem, a problem with the part itself, or something to do with the SC?
